Snippets: Create and Use Smart Shortcuts

What is a Snippet?

A Snippet is a short trigger word that, when typed, instantly expands into your predefined content. It works anywhere Slashit is runningโ€”just type the short word, and the content appears. No slashes or extra steps needed.

How to Create a Snippet

  1. Open the Snippets section from your Slashit sidebar.

  2. Click โž• Add Snippet.

  3. Fill out the form:

    • Snippet Trigger Word: This is the short word (e.g., Slas) youโ€™ll type to insert your content.
    • Snippet Content: The actual text that will be inserted.
    • Reset Fills: Clears current input fields if you want to start over.
    • Save Snippet: Adds your snippet to the active list.

Once saved, it works instantly anywhere Slashit is enabled.
