Organizing with Folders & Bookmarks

Slashit gives you powerful tools to keep your templates tidy and easy to access. Whether you’re grouping templates into folders or quickly marking your favorites with a bookmark, organizing your workspace has never been simpler.

Working with Folders

On the right side panel of the main window view, you’ll find the Folder option. This helps you categorize templates based on project, team, workflow, or however you prefer.

Folder Dropdown
  • Lists all your created folders in a dropdown.

  • Click to select and view templates inside any specific folder.

➕ Creating a New Folder
  1. Click the “New ➕” button right side next to the Folder dropdown.

  2. A folder creation bar appears below with:

    • A random emoji (you can customize it).

    • A Folder Name placeholder input with a subtle Enter icon to indicate pressing the Enter key will create the folder.

  3. After typing your folder name, press Enter to finalize.

Customizing the Emoji
  • Click the emoji before the folder name.

  • A popup emoji picker will appear—choose one that fits your style.

Inside a Folder View

Once you’re inside a folder:

  • The breadcrumb at the top shows: Folder / [Your Folder Name] (No. of Templates)

  • On the right side, two buttons appear:

    • Edit – Switches the folder name into an editable input with emoji selector (just like new folder creation).

    • Delete – Triggers a confirmation modal:

“Are you sure you want to permanently delete this folder?”

      [Cancel] [Delete]

🔖 Bookmarking Your Templates

Need to quickly access your favorite templates? Use Bookmarks.

How Bookmark Work
  • Each Template card has a Bookmark icon.

  • Click the icon to add or remove a template from your bookmarks.

  • Once bookmarked, templates are saved for quick access in a separate section.

Accessing Bookmarked Templates
  • In the sidebar, just below All Templates, you’ll find a Bookmark section.

  • Click it to view all your saved templates.

  • All default layout options—Quick Filters, Add Template, Preview—remain available here as well.

Why Use This Feature?

  • Stay organized when handling dozens (or hundreds) of templates.

  • Save time by jumping straight to important or frequently-used templates.

  • Keep your workspace clean, personalized, and efficient.
