Managing Your Account Settings

Managing your Slashit account is simple, secure, and centralized. All related options are neatly tucked away behind your profile avatar—so you stay in control without leaving your flow.

How to Access:

Click your profile avatar and username at the top-right corner (next to the Notification bell). This opens a tooltip menu with the following options:

• Profile

• Settings

• Feedback Portal

• Logout

Clicking Profile takes you to the Settings & Privacy screen, where the account management begins.

Key Sections Inside “Managing Your Account Settings”:

1. Account Settings

Here, you can manage your core personal details:

• Choose a Profile Avatar
  Pick from a set of predefined avatars to personalize your account appearance.

• Change Password
  Secure your account by updating your password. An email with reset instructions will be sent to your registered address.

• Edit Profile Info
  Update basic information like:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Company

  • Role

2. Subscription & Billing

This tab gives you a full view of your current plan and upgrade opportunities:

• View Current Plan
  Whether you’re on the Free, Premium, or Team/Business plan, your current tier will be clearly displayed.

• Upgrade Options
  Free users can explore premium benefits or switch to a team plan.

• Beta Release Info
  If you’re a Beta Tester, you’ll see a special Beta Tester message and access to provide feedback.

• Open Feedback Portal
  Have a suggestion, bug, or request? Click the “Open Feedback Portal” button to share your thoughts directly with the team.

3. Preferences

Already discussed in the previous article. Includes settings like language, display theme, sound effects, update toggles, and more.
